Dan Kelly, Physiotherapist
Sydney CBD, Double Bay

"I have always loved sport and exercise; the way the body moves and adapts to the various challenges we throw at it."

Dan graduated from The University of Sydney in 2003 and immediately made the transition to private practice in Maroubra, completing clinical consultations, gym program design, hydrotherapy and home visits for older patients which gave him a great outlook on what physiotherapy can do for people across a wide range of settings.

He then moved to a private clinic job in the Sydney CBD, where he worked for three years with some very motivated clients and an array of sports physicians and orthopaedic surgeons of varying disciplines.  Dan completed his post-graduate spine physiotherapy credentials with the McKenzie Institute in 2007.  After this stint in the city, he travelled to Ireland where he played rugby semi-professionally while he continued to practice as a physiotherapist in a private clinic, a role that saw him working with the Laois county Gaelic football squad.

Dan returned to Sydney in 2010 where he established Superhuman Physiotherapy in the Sydney CBD.  2012 presented the opportunity for Dan to combine his love of sport and science in developing a Physio Backed Personal Training service to deliver the most up to date and effective treatment and training methods to athletes of all levels.  Dan is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association, the McKenzie Institute International and of Sports Medicine Australia.  He continues to play rugby with Woollahra Colleagues RFC.
